So I am not the best at keeping with a good routine, I think it has to do with my faulty memory HA! But when my son got sick, many people sent me MANY FANTASTIC prayers & I also went in search of prayers that I found comforting as well...but I could NEVER keep track of them all and remember to say them everyday, they were on various cards, or in emails or books. SOOO, I collected all the prayers I loved & ones I thought I really needed and transcribed them all to a Word document so now I can carry with me my list of prayers anywhere I go! They are on my laptop and a hard copy is usually in my bag with me so whenever the moment strikes...I'm ready to pray wth all my favorites at hand.
Plus it's funny, as I say my list of prayers I sometimes think "Now wait....I should be praying for the souls in Purgatory..." & it inspires me to go find a good prayer for that & then I'll say to myself "I really should be praying for conversions as well..." & off I'd go looking for a prayer of conversion...
So...I post here the best prayer I found for the conversion of souls because as you know I regularly beat my drum on that topic. Please feel free to post YOUR favorite prayers here...I am always looking to add to my ever growing list!!! Ha ha! Have a blessed day.
· Prayer for the Salvation of the World
Father, hear our prayers for the salvation of the world. Grant Mercy to all souls that turned away from You. Open their hearts and minds with Your light. Gather Your children from the east and the west, from the north and the south. Have mercy O God on those who do not know You. Bring them out of darkness into Your light. You are our saving God Who leads us in our salvation. Protect us from evil. Bless and praise You O Lord, hear our prayers and answer us. You, our Savior, are the hope of all the ends of the Earth and the distant seas. May Your way be known upon Earth; among all nations Your salvation. We put the world in Your hands; fill us with Your love. Grant us peace through Christ, our Lord. Amen

I love the Chaplet of Divine Mercy..and whenever I feel anxious or need Gods help, I just say For the sake of his sorrowful passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
Also, in elementary school, I had this one nun who always made us say Jesus Mercy Mary Help 10 times, whenever we heard an ambulance or police siren - I still do that to this day, and I also say it when I need some quick strength! I too have MANY little books of prayers as well as cards, I LOVE your idea of compiling them in a word document!!!!!
I LOVEthe Chaplet of Divine Mercy too...I have that one my list of pryers as well AND I have a CD in my car that when I know I have about 20 mins....I pop it in & know I've done some good....I think I'm going to incorporate your Nun's parctice & teach the kids!!! Thanks!
